There is a strong link between celebrity status and electoral triumph. It’s as if people only look at the marketing rather than doing extensive research to find out who is best fit for the job. But why are people even electing them into office in the first place? Individuals tend to look for a familiar “brand,” or a familiar face and name, rather than choosing which candidate has the best platform and advocacy.
